Single Crystal Types and Application
Scintillator: Includes lutetium oxyorthosilicate (Lu2SiO5, LSO), yttrium oxyorthosilicate (Y2SiO5, YSO) , and lutetium–yttrium oxyorthosilicate (Lu2-2xY2xSiO5, LYSO)。 Scintillation crystals can detect high-energy particles and are mainly used in Positron Emission Tomography, high-energy physics experiments, nuclear physics experiments, oil well exploration and safety inspections.

Fluorescent crystal: Include cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Ce3xY3-3xAl5O12, Ce:YAG) and cerium-doped lutetium aluminum garnet (Ce3xLu3-3xAl5O12, Ce:LuAG). It can be applied for high-power laser lighting.
